Plage de Saint-Maurice
Während die Sonne hinter dem Horizont versinkt, erreichen wir bei Morieux einen Stellplatz mit Blick auf den Plage de Saint-Maurice. Der unendlich erscheinende Strand wird von der Kapelle Saint-Maurice überragt. Der Tidenhub ist sehr groß in der Bretagne, daher hat sich das Meer sehr weit zurück gezogen. Schließlich geht auch noch der Mond auf.
As the sun sets below the horizon, we reach a pitch near Morieux with a view of Plage de Saint-Maurice. The seemingly endless beach is overlooked by the Saint-Maurice chapel. The tidal range is very large in Brittany, so the sea has receded quite far. Finally, the moon rises.

Am folgenden Morgen ist Regen angekündigt, aber das hat sich noch nicht herum gesprochen, So können wir nochmal und ausgiebig „unseren“ Strand erwandern und ein wenig auf die zerklüfteten Felsen klettern. In der Ferne dreht ein Sulky seine Runden. Als wir zurück im Wohnmobil sind, setzt der versprochene Regen ein.
Rain is forecast for the following morning, but word hasn’t got around yet, so we can once again explore ‘our’ beach at length and do a bit of climbing on the rugged rocks. In the distance, a sulky is doing its rounds. When we return to the motorhome, the promised rain begins to fall.
